Is it possible to came samsung brand ram modules with a brand new compaq notebook ?
Two days back I purchased compaq cq62-258TU model from the Sri Lanka. When I see my system specification via Hp Assistant tool it says my ram modules brand is Samsung and Hard Disk brand is Hitachi.
I mean is this possible ? I know compaq also designed by HP. So don’t they manufacture there own Ram Modules and hard disks rather using third party providers.
Please explain this to me…
Third Parties manufacture all the internals of laptops. It’s cheaper for them to do it that way and the third parties specialize in just that process. Asus MoBo, Samsung RAM, Hitachi HDD. HP doesn’t manufacture these things, so they go to a party that does.
You can replace your RAM with any manufacturer’s product, as long as the specs match.
